CANCAM 2017 - Stipends

GRADUATE STUDENT TRAVEL STIPENDS

The CANCAM 2017 Organising Committee is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Travel Stipends to assist graduate students to attend the congress and present a paper. Please note the following guidelines:

Applicants must have at least one paper accepted to the congress
Applicants have paid the student registration fee
Applicants must be the presenting author for at least one paper
Applicants must be registered at the time of the congress (e.g. Jun. 2017) in a graduate program offered by a recognized university
Stipends are intended to offset the costs associated with the registration of the graduate students and thereby their value cannot exceed the student registration fee

To apply, please send an email to cancam2017@uvic.cawith a mandatory subject line of Application for Graduate Student Stipend. The body of the email should include the following information (please preserve the same numbered structure indicated below):

Your name
Your institution
Name and email address of your research supervisor(s)
ID(s) of the accepted paper(s) you intend to present at CANCAM 2017
Confirmation number of your registration
A brief statement indicating why you believe you deserve the award (max. 1200 characters including spaces)

The application deadline is (TBD) EDT. Please note that late applications will not be considered. The successful applicants and their supervisors will be notified via email by (TBD).
